Dear comrades,

I send you solidarity and militant greetings for the Giornate della Croce Nera Anarchica a Vienna – [Anarchist Black Cross Solidarity Festival in Vienna 20 – 23 April]. Although these are certainly very difficult and confusing times both inside and outside the prison walls, it is still very important not to lose the courage and determination to face this miserable and unjust world.

Victoria Law, who is familiarly known as Vikki, is an anarchist activist, writer, freelance editor, photographer and mother. Law is of Chinese descent and was born and raised in Queens NY where she had her first brush with the law as an armed robber while still in high school. Her exposure to incarcerated people at Rikers Island prompted her to get involved with prison support. She has continued fighting for prison abolition, co-founding Books Through Bars NYC as a joint project between Blackout Books & Nightcrawlers Anarchist Black Cross in 1996 at the age of nineteen.

Italy – Updates on CNA [Anarchist Black Cross] and the Anarchist Prisoners Fund

We publish this report (which could become periodical) on the activities of the Anarchist Black Cross Fund in order to explain the functioning of the fund of support and the expenses we are meeting also to the anarchists we didn’t have the chance to see face to face.

First of all, after we first individually and then publicly faced the irregularities that had sadly emerged, we don’t intend to go back to this: as we said then, the Anarchist Black Cross project continues with the same enthusiasm and determination, in spite of various difficulties and in the awareness of our limits.

This update includes updated mini-bios, photos, and address changes for several prisoners, as well as the removal of Chelsea Manning (Commutation!). Unfortunately, it also includes the addition of recently-imprisoned water defender Krow.
