On February 1, in Moscow, Russian FSB has raided several flats and arrested 10 people under « conspiracy charges ». All of them were later released, after all-day interrogations and physical tortures, except one person, Azat Miftahov. He is accused of « fabricating explosives » and being a member of a « radical anarchist organization Narodnaya Samooborona » (Peoples’ Self-Defense). This organization has become, during last year, the main target of police repressions in Russia : several members of this group were arrested, tortured or threatened.

After the first defendant in a high-profile terrorism investigation is sentenced, new evidence emerges that security services may have used an agent provocateur against Russian anti-fascists.
Tuesday, 29th of January, shortly after midday, one of our comrades was arrested in his flat. The door was opened by force by a forensic unit.
His arrest, the house searches at his home, as well as - once again - of the Anarchist Library Fermento have been justified by the authorities with following accusations:
- Arson attack against several vehicles of the swiss army in Hinwil (Zurich) on September 27th, 2015
- Arson attack against radio antenna Waidberg of the cops in Zurich on July 10th, 2016

On Aug 17th (the day after my wife’s cancer was removed via surgery) after reviewing an email I sent, Lt Wilcox called me into his office. On my arrival the new SIS (Special Investigative Services ) creep took me back to a mop closet. Wilcox is about 2 inches taller 30-40 lbs heavier. He is known for screaming and tough guying, making sure no one forgets what a bad ass he is.
Eric is still being held at USP Leavenworth after being assaulted by staff at FCI Florence. He still is being held without charges, disciplinary write-ups, or any disciplinary hearings for more than 140 days. He is still under the jurisdiction of FCI Florence and this month when he tried to call his wife for his one phone call a month he found that their communication was restricted and he was unable to call. EK remains without an explanation as everyone refuses to provide any information as to why his phone communication has been cut off.

On Saturday 19 January we will demonstrate in London, in solidarity with Russian anti-fascists. Eleven of them, who have been arrested, tortured and accused of fabricated “terrorism” charges, are awaiting trial. Many others have faced a relentless campaign of persecution by officers of the federal security services (FSB) and the police – which is reviewed in this article.
Please join us on Saturday, to support the Russian anti-fascists and strengthen international solidarity against fascism, xenophobia and state terror. Please re-post and share this article.
