We Carry Them With Us

We Carry Them With Us

From Surviving Leviathan with Peter Gelderloos by Peter Gelderloos

some memories for March the 2nd

I sat down to prepare the talk I have to give this afternoon about a friend who died in the struggle. But my mind is flighty, my breath shallow, shadows of sadness and anxiety, so first I’m writing to you.

Not On Any Map, on Immediatism podcast

The new book, Black Seed: Not on Any Map, Indigenous Anarchy in an Anti-Political World, is out! Episode 630 of Immediatism features both the shorter introduction by Little Black Cart editors and the longer introduction by Klee. Not on Any Map is the first of what will be two precious volumes of Black Seed articles along with new material. You may also enjoy three of the essays included in Not on Any Map, as these were previously recorded on Immediatism. Also, watch for the forthcoming second volume of Black Seed articles to become available!

Making Aragorn!’s Anarchism «Our Own»

As a way to remember Arargorn!’s writing at the first anniversary of his death, and using the ongoing “Constructing Anarchisms” workshop as a prompt, let’s discuss how each of us would make Aragorn!’s anarchism «our own». How would we each pen an outline for a syllabus based on his ideas that would help us incorporate them into each of our own personal anarchism, whether as agreements, stepping stones, or interesting disagreements?

A farewell to Aragorn! by La Mauvaise Herbe

Aragorn! Native Elegy

Today I say good journey to Aragorn! My friend, my companion, my brother.
I thank you with all my heart for the love and joy you gave me during our lives together.
Know that you will always live inside my heart, beloved Aragorn!
for part of you will live on with me
as part of me travels to the Other Side with you.

Grieve for me, for I would grieve for you.

Then brush away the sorrow and the tears.

Black Seed #8 Out Now!

From Little Black Cart

The Black Seed that was almost finished before the death of the main editor and the onslaught of covid19, this issue, perhaps the last, of this journal, now covers even more territory in its 36 pages. Two obituaries for Aragorn!, two report backs on the Indigenous Anarchist Conference in 2019, part 2 of a conversation with the Anpoa Duta collective, a scathing anonymous piece called Rethinking the Apocalypse, on covid19 and so much more...

What's new with LBC - Winter 2019

From Little Black Cart

Welcome to the quarterly newsletter of Little Black Cart. (It is a little late this quarter because we were waiting on an external printer who was rather late with some bad news.) We distribute anarchist anti-political books, pamphlets, and newspapers. This quarter we have a new book that we are rather proud of (it was put together by Aragorn!), and the annual BASTARD conference journal.
