28.12.17: Around dawn on December 18, 2017 an incendiary device was found on a route 107 Transantiago bus. When the suspicious object was found, the bus stopped at a nearby mall and the police were called.

The device consisted of two plastic bottles containing fuel connected to a timer that failed to activate. Police announced to the media that ‘anarchist slogans’ were found with the device.

Eventually, after threats of prosecution made by GOPE (Special Operations Police Group), Labocar (Scientific / Forensic Police) and the Southern Prosecutor’s office, the attempted attack was claimed by anarchists as part of Black December. The claim of responsibility is printed below…

BLACK DECEMBER

Our call, once again, is for action…

Action against those who try to dominate our lives, against those who try to make our lives a misery, against those who have imposed a role of power for their own benefit.
Against those who we know full well have names and addresses. With this opportunity and with our actions we want to remember our comrades who fell in combat against domination and domestication.

FOR A BLACK DECEMBER, LET ANARCHY LIVE!!

Today, there are 81 reasons to fight, 81 reasons to subvert order and confront their lackeys, to remind the masses of sheep of their complicit actions, because we do not forget, because we do not forgive.*

La Passe gets spray-painted, a few bourgies someplace reportedly throw a temper tantrum

La "Passe" means a few things in French. Beyond referring to a "pass", like a theater pass or a peep show pass, namely, in Quebec lumpen speech it also has the connoting of fucking people over (like being conned), or to bluntly rape someone. We still use the expression se faire PASSER un sapin, that transliterates to the metaphor "being fucked with a cone tree", a colorful semantic variant on "being fucked over". More rarely it's used in tour de passe-passe, a magic trick of illusion. ALso, La Passe is a fairly-dubiously radical social center located between the Plateau and Mile End, hands down the trendiest and some of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Montreal.

With the anarchist Sebastián Oversluij in our memory, four years since his death in combat in Chile during an attempted bank expropriation in December 2013.

With swollen hearts, remembering the anarchist comrade Alexandros Grigoropoulos, seven years since he was murdered in Exarcheia, Greece by police bullets in the year 2008.

While the specter of anarchism may be slumbering in Seattle, it is thriving all over the planet. Over the entire month of December, 2015, a series of informally coordinated attacks took place from Uruguay to Greece to Australia and many countries in between. Banks were burned, politicians cars were set ablaze, and other capitalist targets were incinerated or vandalized in what was called Black December.

Brazil: Incendiary attack against a Bradesco bank branch by Marie Mason Cell / M.I.A for Black December

Manifesto of M.I.A – Movimento Insurgente Anarquista (Insurgent Anarchist Movement) Marie Mason Cell

Between the end of November and the beginning of December, two ancient trees were cut down in the square outside the Our Lady of Remedies church at the behest of the Osasco-Sao Paulo municipal authorities.

And, in August 2015, the armed branches of government assassinated more than 20 people in one night in the regions of Osasco, Barueri, Carapicuiba and Itapevi. All the people who were assassinated came from the favelas and the barrios away from the center of these fascist states.

In response to these assassinations, we have brought our fire to one of the veins that keeps this oppressive system alive. Even though it will not bring back the trees that resisted the concrete of this unhealthy civilization nor will it bring back the lives of the people who became victims of genocide caused by these Nazis, we claim full responsibility for the arson attack against the Bradesco bank branch located at number 924 São José avenue in Osasco, Sao Paulo that took place at dawn on December 16th.

From seanswain.org

Black December is coming, and none too soon. We’ve hashed out our theories and we’ve analyzed our reality, we know what kind of future we want and what we are going to have to tear apart in order to get it. The time for philosophizing and talking it out has ended and we face the inevitable moment of conflict with the forces of control and conformity and subjugation.

December really is the perfect starting point, here in the U.S. anyway. It’s the darkest month of the year, the most non-daylight hours to carry our acts of resistance and rebellion. Also, in the cold, everyone wears ski masks. So, a rebel about to strike a Walmart or a police car or some fascist administrator’s house doesn’t look quite as conspicuous as he or she might look in, say, July or August in the same gear.

Having read the Black December proposals, I would like to speak to those who are, so far, paralyzed by fear and skepticism, who still don’t believe that we can undertake radical, militant actions against the common enemy, that political violence even of the clandestine variety is doomed, and that it’s okay to “play” at being anarchists, but it’s foolhardy for us to put our proverbial money where our mouths are.

From Anarchy Live!

Just as a worm struggles in resistance against the foot that crushes it so do we anarchists struggle and fight for the total destruction of a world system of coercive authority and domination in all of its manifestations and that wants to crush our spirits of resistance.

Kuwasi Balagoon, revolutionary extraordinaire and unrepentant anarchist within the Black Liberation Army, fell at the hands of the state of New York, USA in December 1986 through medical neglect.

In memory of this New Afrikan anarchist soldier i take the initiative to compose my contribution to the strategy of total annihilation of the state and its institutions by which the state exercises its power.
