In Tension is a journal acting as a place for anarchist analysis, dialogue, and reflection on activity that extends beyond single subcultures, issues, and social groups. Intended for people beginning to learn what anarchists are fighting and creating as well as people who have identified with anarchism for decades, In Tension is a way for us to talk to each other and report actions, issues and intiatives that are otherwise under-or un-reported.

Vandalism at Indiana University – Bloomington, Indiana

From Unravel
November 23, 2024

In solidarity with Indigenous People's Day of Rage, I painted "Stolen Land" across the stone entrance to the Indiana University Foundation in Bloomington, Indiana. The IUF exists to maximize private investments for IU, an institution (like all universities) that runs on exploitation, environmental destruction and continued expansion across stolen indigenous land. Until all universities are destroyed!

In Tension is a journal acting as a place for anarchist analysis, dialogue, and reflection on activity that extends beyond single subcultures, issues, and social groups. Intended for people beginning to learn what anarchists are fighting and creating as well as people who have identified with anarchism for decades, In Tension is a way for us to talk to each other and report actions, issues, and initiatives that are otherwise under- or un-reported. We are interested in promoting the practice of doing things for ourselves and connecting our struggles locally, regionally, and internationally. Snitch David Agranoff Confronted at Speech in Bloomington, IN

From Animal Liberation Press Office Green Scare snitch David Agranoff was shouted down at the beginning of his book talk in Bloomington, IN on April 7th, 2024. We distributed fliers with his picture and information to the event attendees, and we called him out for the coward and snitch that he is. He and an event organizer quickly took it upon themselves to collect the fliers and physically usher us out of the event.

Free Michael Kimble, Raze the Walls

From June 11th, Bloomington, Indiana

On June 5, 2020, in anticipation of the June 11th International Day of Solidarity with Long-Term Anarchist Prisoners, we participated in a march in Bloomington, Indiana against the police murder of Black people by spreading word about our beloved friend Michael Kimble, Black anarchist and intransigent prison rebel.
