Next year, 2019, the Father Frost against Putin-festival will once again take place in Helsinki. From the 5th to the 6th of January you can join discussions about the state of affairs in Russia and the x-USSR region, and get a chance to meet various social and political activists without the fear of police or special service operations. (fear of infringement from the side of police and special services).
Welcome to the first Anarchist Bookfair of Umeå (Västerbotten county, Sweden/occupied Sápmi).
We want to invite friends and strangers from near and far to conspire, learn, network and celebrate together during a weekend full of discussions, books and zines, workshops, presentations, food and music. We strive for creating a cozy camp-like environtment were hopefully also people who are new to Anarchism feel included.
There’s a show or event for just about everyone. Anarchist or not.
Rolling up to the Trumbullplex, Detroit’s self-titled “Sexiest Anarchist Collective,” I’m seven minutes late for its weekly open mic night. After hustling up a long driveway separating the complex’s two-century-old brick houses to meet my contact, Chase (who wasn’t comfortable giving his last name), the warm-up act — a film screening — is still going strong in the barn-like performance space that stops the driveway’s eastward march. And Chase is nowhere to be found.

Between the 10th and 13th of Mai the Chaos- and Discussiondays are taking place in Berlin. Quite a few things are already being planned. Until now there has been an open Meeting for the preparation taking place in Fischladen, Rigaerstrasse 83 every Wednesday at 6pm. With this plenary assembly we hope to put the concept up to public scrutiny and discussion.Additionally we would like to evaluate if such a plenary assembly can function as a coordination platform for more people who autonomously organize things decentrally following the Do-It-Yourself principle.
