Text by Nikos Maziotis on the Health Care Conditions in Domokos Prison

Via Abolition Media

According to the law, the health care of prisoners is proportional to the care of the rest of the population (Article 27 (1) of the Penitentiary Code). But that is not really the case. Lack of medical staff, lack of doctors, delays in transfers of detainees to hospitals, special security measures and procedures in some cases such as mine, make the supposed right to care a dead letter.

Via Act for freedom now!

Comrade Roupa’s attitude was no different from mine. Together we took political responsibility for our participation in Revolutionary Struggle, together we defended the organization’s action as political action in and out of court, and we remained consistent throughout our detention. Neither can it be intellectually claimed that Comrade Roupa “transformed” her character in prison, nor did she change her political beliefs and views and was released unrepentant with her head held high. This is actually our own political victory against the state.

On My Extraordinary Permit and Parody-Transfer

From Luchar Contra el 41 bisTranslated by Act for freedom now!

But instead of discreet, my transfer was made with measures I had never had before and without prior notice. Naturally, the neighborhood was upset, as were my relatives who wondered why all this had happened as I had just been in Kalamata for 3 weeks. As for the local community, acquaintances and friends in town, some treated the event with astonishment and others with acid humor, speaking of its ridiculousness.

Support Pola Roupa & Nikos Maziotis, and their family in Greece

From Firefund

At this critical juncture, what is of utmost importance to us is the provision of financial assistance* that can contribute to the treatment of our relative's serious health issues and provide support to our family. This support is what we prioritize and consider crucial during these challenging times. We consider it necessary to raise 3.000 euros to overcome the immediate financial difficulties of our family

Text from anarchists prisoners Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis

From Act for Freedom Now!

We are two imprisoned political prisoners, members of the armed anarchist organization Revolutionary Struggle, which operated between 2003 and 2017.
