Nov-12th-Nov 19th: International Solidarity with Grand Jury Resisters!

<table><tr><td>Against the State, the repression of anarchists, and against all prisons!

Solidarity with all those who resist!

Free Kteeo, Matt & Leah! Free all prisoners!

Since July 25th 2012, there have been multiple house raids and the imprisonment of 3 anarchists in the Northwest (U.S.A.) in relation to an "ongoing violent crime investigation". The State has referenced the Seattle May Day disruptions, vandalism, and demonstrations as a cause, particularly the heavy vandalism of a Federal Courthouse. However, it has since been discovered that the Grand Jury, which was called to question those named as potential witnesses, was actually convened in March 2012-two months prior to May Day. </td><td><img title="Let's make this a good one ppl!" src="http://anarchistnews.org/files/pictures/2012/leahheart.jpg"></td></tr></...

Three people received subpoenas to testify before the Grand Jury in what became August, September, and October. Three people refused to testify and sent to prison, where they remain today. They can be held till at least March 2014. Three other people were somehow made aware of their subpoenas but were never physically served and therefore did not have to attend their hearings and have since avoided being served. Although it is unknown what has become of those three people it is easy to assume that their lives are also stressful and that they may not be able to live the way they had or where they had prior to July 25th. For that reason, this solidarity call is for everyone affected by the Grand Jury.

If you live outside of the United States, consider visiting a U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your city. If you don't have one, consider visiting an American company, or really anything that capitalism and the State manifest themselves into.

Spread the news of the repression and the rebellion of the comrades who resist it.

SOLIDARITY WITH ALL THOSE RESISTING THE GRAND JURY & THE FBI!

FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF ALL PRISONS AND THE SOCIETY THAT "NEEDS" THEM!

BROAD BASED COALITIONS AND MASS MOBILIZATIONS!

Lets make this big everyone. At least attempt to bring wide varieties of people/action in mobilizations in solidarity with the resistors. Could be healthy for the struggle and I definitely bet those behind the prison walls would feel the love even harder.

Boots Riley here! I wholeheartedly endorse this call to action, and/or anti-cap rhetoric and/or product!

This is the REAL Boots, and I endorse this endorsement.

this is the REAL REAL Boots and i endorse all the endorsements in my name

As usual; no substantive responses. Just a lot of ad hominem attacks. Poor anarchists, not a pot to piss in. And you say you want a revolution. Aristotle has answers: a government that limits unnatural wealth getting (usury and mercantile trade) and develops, to the extent possible, a prosperous middle class that is temperate, courageous, and generous. Capitlaism and the modern nation-state do none of these things or, regarding the middle class, they do so incidentally.

But what you anarchists offer is NOTHING. Oh, wait, there is outrage and ad hominem attacks.

I am more familiar than any of you with Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Locke. The first offers no more moral basis for rule. So why refer to him. The second "puts as a general inclination of mankind desire for power after power which ceaseth only in death." That is, speaking bluntly, an insane notion and a reflection of the producer (infinite profit)/consumer (infinite pleasure) nexus that defines the insanity of modern capitlaism. Locke, in Chapter Five of the "Second Treatise" seems to realize that property involves a precipitous fall from a more primitive, simple justice. But then he goes on nonchalantly to embrace money and property relations. So he is of no help.

Aristotle offers something rationally coherent and constructive. Y'all offer nothing. I thought this might be a place for discussion. Alas. Maybe you do not want to be happy? "Now such a thing happiness, above all else, is held to be; for this we choose always for self and never for the sake of something else, but honour, pleasure, reason, and every virtue we choose indeed for themselves (for if nothing resulted from them we should still choose each of them), but we choose them also for the sake of happiness, judging that by means of them we shall be happy. Happiness, on the other hand, no one chooses for the sake of these, nor, in general, for anything other than itself."

Or maybe you are simply deficient in practical virtue? "
Virtue, then, is a state of character concerned with choice, lying in a mean, i.e. the mean relative to us, this being determined by a rational principle, and by that principle by which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect; and again it is a mean because the vices respectively fall short of or exceed what is right in both passions and actions, while virtue both finds and chooses that which is intermediate. Hence in respect of its substance and the definition which states its essence virtue is a mean, with regard to what is best and right an extreme."

I would urge you to work on both your moral and intellectual virtues and attempt to make a rational response. A-team

why should we respond to someone who is just approvingly quoting Aristotle at us?

Because the quotations relate to legitimate questions being posed. And the best anyone here seems to be able to come up with are ad hominem, ad populum and red herring fallacies. No substantive position on authentic questions. No logic. Not even any positing of a contention against my posts. Lame.
