August 2018, by Quijano Araucano
This text is directed towards young anarchists (among them me) who are as lost as usual, more lazy than ever and each time (discovered with terror and fatigue) more scare. As Roberto Bolaño (1953-2003) has mentioned, in numerous texts and interviews, literature, now more than any other historical moment, suffers a state of stagnation and decomposition never seen before, even more so in this strip of land in the south of the world, where thanks to 18 years of tyranny and barbarism the situation turned out to be (and still is) of an even greater severity.
“The pride and conviction of placing ourselves as revolutionary entities forges an indestructible unwavering dignity in us, these are not elements exhumed to be used as weapons, but are part of a constant praxis in our actions.” – Joaquin Garcia
Again, those who take the stage as possessors of life, namely Nelly Villegas Becerra, Hernán García Mendoza and María Leonor Fernández Lecanda, have decided on someone’s life dealing out years and years’ prison, as always, in accordance with their job.
Friday August 10, 2018, the shadows slowly falling we separated from them, altering the healthy functioning of the city. In a wild and playful way we attacked the transantiago bus, line 325, in the area of the Juan Gómez Millas faculty of the University of Chile, taking violence into our hands to spread a call to insurrection with it. Taking into account how that night the media along with the police silenced our words (and always will do), we are claiming this action.

To memory of Mauricio Morales Duarte
“The cult of the dead is nothing more than contempt for true pain. […] The latter must also disappear, faced with the fatality of death the people must react firmly. We must fight against suffering instead of displaying it, of promenading it in grotesque processions and false commemorations […] Pyramids, graves, tombs must be thrown down; we must drive the plow through the walls of cemiteries to rid humanity of what we call respect for the dead, which is the worship of corpses“.
We, autonomous comrades and anarchists, have been carrying out libertarian initiatives and projects for some time – from different places and contexts – seeking to generate a break with the order, the norms and eveything that tries to impose the Capital and the State. It is under this light that several people have converged to collectively create the “Anti-Prison Solidarity Network with Juan and Marcelo”.
These words are far from victimization and lament, but are full of revolutionary, untameable and subversive vitality. In the constant practice of reciprocal revolutionary solidarity, which we subversive political prisoners have been carrying out for years, it becomes necessary to relate any step taken in this battle. It wasn’t the first nor will it be the last battle we have to face as outcasts of the State.

Refractario’s note: We learn with joy that comrade Freddy has been released. From here, a strong warm hug, after the death threats of Bernales, the jails in Argentina, the Chilean prisons, the trials and farces up until now, time is filled with experiences in the construction of paths of negation. Today new paths are being opened and old ones taken up again, now back in the streets once more! Without ever forgetting Juan and Marcelo’s struggle on the medical and juridical military fronts, respectively, we remember Freddy’s words during the trial against him:
We claim responsibility for the incendiary attack against the route 426 Transantiago bus that took place this Friday, June 1st around 21:00 at the intersection of Matucan and Romero streets in Central Station commune.
We call for expanding the constant attack against the bastard institutions and services of the State.
