First, I really appreciated dizzy bat’s lines of questioning that were often questions that clarified and moved the conversation along. Shall we say it was helpful in situating the messiness as something that never ends and drives everything?
Her description of going to bed and saving a microdose of one’s self to be renewed from each morning really titillated me. As I listened, I found myself wanting her to go so much deeper into that temporary ego death hole. In that hole is recognition of the messiness within the self but also within it is the mental, physical and deeper sensuality of finding the pleasure of not being a fixed state of order. I think thinking of it almost as an orifice we must open is helpful.
We can do this orifice opening individually but what is it like to do it with someone else? How can we help each other get off, so to speak? How to rid ourselves of the various self- and societally- imposed orders that cover the messiness. Orders that replicate political and social constitutions of our enemies who want us to be legible constituents. I’d like to find out and find ways to this more.
