Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, and South Carolina are actively attempting to redraw congressional lines to reduce representation of Black voters. White supremacists are more emboldened than ever to show their true colors and terrorize their Black neighbors. Confederate flags hang from their doors, their cars, and are planted lovingly at their gravesites. Each flag is a reminder that minorities are not safe in this violent settler colony.

In the next several weeks there is likely to be a surge of ICE enforcement in New York state and NYC. Although ICE has been operating with increased frequency in the city since last year, the DHS seceratary has now made clear they will be surging the city in response to some very tame anti-ice legislation that was passed in the recently .

From autonomies

For the past decade precarity, poverty and police "democracy" have been at the forefront of our lives. Public space and service has been replaced with law and order. Austerity for all is now simply just the way things are. Ten years of worsening conditions, now it seems that cracks are beginning to form. Mayday has always been a point of contention. As anarchist and radical movements lost and gained strength, so did the anarchistic, rebellious spirit of May 1st. For years May 1st was the day to display global revolutionary solidarity.

We, your friendly neighbourhood anarchists from Minneapolis, Los Angeles, New York City, Akron, Atlanta, Baltimore, Winston-Salem, and Montreal, linked together by a common mission, implore you to join us in dismantling the surveillance apparatus and, from its remains, creating new tools which facilitate learning, art-making, life saving, and liberation.

From Balkan Anarchist Bookfair

Currently, in Serbia, students have full control over 62 out of 80 faculties. This is the largest student protest in our region since 1968. It was triggered by a series of tragic events caused by decades of repression, corruption, and violence perpetuated by the ruling regime. The opposition has so far proven itself incompetent with its methods, which is why we, the students, have taken matters into our own hands. We have suspended classes, dissolved all representative student bodies, self-organized plenums, voted on demands, formed work groups, and begun to apply pressure. We have moved into faculty buildings and adapted them for daily life. We have set up kitchens, dormitories, pharmacies, workshops, cinemas, and classrooms for self-education. In just three weeks, almost all university buildings in Serbia have become hubs for round-the-clock political self-organization. We have the full support of our fellow citizens, we survive on their donations, and every day, other vulnerable groups in society are joining our fight.
