'Anarchy in Greece': A Book and Solidarity project

**NOTE: the official announcement of the book with all info.

“When we set out to learn from other struggles and draw inspiration from them, we have to bear the differences in mind. We should prioritize a revolutionary introspection that takes safety and risk into account. Courage and passion are indispensable, but if we don’t account for context, we might sell our own struggles short.”

NO SQUATTER IN PRISON!

Campaign for the court expenses of Koukaki Squats Community (Athens)

It was March 2017 when we first opened the door of 45 Matrozou str. and began repairing the building so that it could house our struggles, desires, needs and bodies. And when these, a few months later, could no longer fit in one building we opened two more buildings that were rotting abandoned in the neighborhood of Koukaki, 21 Panaitoliou str. and the Blue House (3 Arvali str.). This is how Koukaki Squats Community was created in the center of Athens.

Fundraising for the defense of anarchist Ruslan Sidiki

On May 23, anarchist Ruslan Sidiki was sentenced to a record-breaking 29 years in prison. He received this sentence for two acts of sabotage against military infrastructure: blowing up a railway track and carrying out a drone attack on an airfield. Ruslan explained his actions as an attempt to hinder attacks on Ukraine.

Campaign: Help Buy a Printing Press for Anarchists in Sudan

From Black Rose Anarchist Federation

Since February 2022 Black Rose/Rosa Negra (BRRN) and other members of our international network of anarchist political organizations have been collaborating with the Sudan Anarchist Federation (SAF), which started organizing shortly before the revolutionary upheavals that began in 2018. Thanks to the many comrades who donated to our previous fundraiser, we were able to support some SAF comrades to escape dangerous situations and continue their work, both inside and outside the country. Tragically, at least one comrade, Sarah, was lost to the murderous and femicidal deprivations of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

For the Continuity of Montreal’s Oldest Anarchist Space

From diffusionlibertaire.org

Since 1982, 2033-2035 Saint-Laurent Boulevard has been a vital space for anarchism in Montreal (Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang). At the time, activists founded the Association des Espèces d’Espaces Libres et Imaginaires (AEELI) with the goal of acquiring the building that today houses three anarchist projects: the feminist and queer self-managed social space Les Révoltes, the DIRA Library, and the bookstore L’Insoumise. The AEELI’s mission is to spread anarchist ideas, for instance through the development of an anarchist bookstore in Montreal. When the association was founded, the bookstore was named Librairie l’Alternative, which opened its doors in 1977.
