Internationalist solidarity with the anarchist comrades detained in Indonesia.

From Act for Freedom Now!

Many anarchist individuals have been arrested in recent days, and as part of the repressive operation, the media began to disseminate confidential information from comrades who have counter-information pages on social media.

For Gianfranco Sanguinetti (1948-2025)

FromAutonomies

We only recently learned of Gianfranco Sanguinetti’s death, on October 3rd of this year. In a modest gesture of homage to this late member of the Italian Section of the Situationist International, we share below his classic text, On Terrorism and the State, in a translation by Bill Brown.

Forcibly mobilised and then killed by drone: the murderous logic of war in practice

from antimilitarismus
There is not much written about the equally horrific massacres of Ukrainian deserters. One thing is certain, however. The combat capability of both armies is partly based on violent mobilization and torture techniques designed to discourage desertion and force even those who do not want to go to the front to do so. While thousands of soldiers are trying to desert, others are being sent to the front against their will, hoping to live to see another day. That is, unless a “suicide” drone armed with explosives happens to fly into their heads. On the internet, we can see videos of such drones belonging to the Ukrainian army massacring Russian soldiers on motorcycles, in trenches, on roads, in forests, plains, and elsewhere. (2)

Book Review: Every Day Is A Good Day, by Robert Shea

From Overweening Generalist

Blessed are the fanatical devotees of minor writers (hey, I’ve been here), for they ensure the unduly neglected don’t fall through the cracks and down the memory holes. Let us sing the praises of the intellectual free thinkers, the anonymous erudites, those toiling researchers who in their spare time seek out obscure periodicals, ephemera and texts, use archives, and remind the reading public: here was someone we ought not forget. Let us at least keep considering their work for now.

Terminally Online

One goal for this series was to describe key developments in English-speaking anarchist thought as it resurged after World War II. Originally, the plan was to choose an anarchist who represented a recognizable tradition and demonstrate how they were informed by the thinking around them to prompt discussion. What we created instead was less tradition-centered and more history-centered.

Taking down flock cameras in Minneapolis

From Unravel

Since May some anarchists have been skulking around Minneapolis pulling down Flock cameras. For those who don't know these are the latest in AI enabled license plate reading technology. Anyone from your local racist homeowners association to the world's largest police departments can rent one of these to track any cars they want in real time – unless we destroy it first ;)

A New Anarchist FAQ: An Introduction to Anarchy in the 21st Century, developed by the Raddle Collective, aims to address the shortcomings of An Anarchist FAQ by Iain McKay, particularly its perceived sectarian attacks against certain anarchist currents, immense length and complexity.
